We're working on transforming Arlington, WA, into the go-to destination for startup small businesses with our indoor swap meet concept, a project lead by Jacob Kukuk. While indoor markets have thrived in other regions, we're bringing this proven model home, creating a vibrant, all-season marketplace for our local entrepreneurs. This space isn't just about transactions; it's about providing a platform for startups to connect with the community, unveil their unique products, and fuel their growth. Our goal is to cultivate an ecosystem that champions local innovation, offers a shopping experience with a difference, and strengthens community ties by supporting local ventures.
SWAP MEET
The Swap Meet section is a key component of this project, specifically designed to help and boost local startups and small businesses backed by our major advertising program with TV, Radio, Social Media, Print Advertising Every Month. This area, which is designed to house 300 individual spaces, each 10x10 ft and equipped with power and internet, provides ample space for vendors to display their goods and services while also having a location to store items. For those who require more space, there is the option to combine units, allowing each business to tailor their presence to their specific needs.
With an affordable monthly rental rate plus utilities and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) fees, we will make it possible for entrepreneurs to secure a spot in this dynamic marketplace. The planned operating hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, which coincides perfectly with peak shopping times and maximizes foot traffic and engagement opportunities for our vendors.
The entry fee system, which will be a modest fee, is designed not only for admittance secuirty but also to encourage sales and support for the vendors. To sweeten the deal, customers who spend a specific amount will receive a discount on their purchase from a vendor based on the entry fee, promoting a thriving, bustling environment of commerce and community support.
